Grandpa George Candied Yam
Located in Virginia, USA, Grandpa George’s farm produces an abundance of premium-quality red sweet potatoes. He traditionally simmers them with maltose and brown sugar into rich candied sweet potatoes, creating a delightfully chewy yet velvety texture beloved by the local community. During his travels, our head chef crossed paths with Grandpa George and brought this sweet, heartwarming recipe back to Taiwan.
